My Mom: Rethreading my blog writing
My late mother, through all 74 years of her earthly life, was a Catholic. .....
That may not sound extraordinary - after all, I'm certain many readers of this blog may say similar spiritual things about their own parents and relatives. However, in my mother's case - and this sadly has only come through in sharp relief to my soul over the past few years, putting separate things of which I am aware now, in one place -- she suffered through some agents who claimed to be Catholic ... as well as having a severe breech within her marriage. And yet - especially with the first -- she was not one of these Catholics who 'took off on one wheel' getting out of there as fast as she possibly could: why would she, when she recognized the larger picture : that the Catholic church was the only true, apostolic Church on earth: even if some people weren't always as advertised, or dependable, the Church itself was!!! ----
And this is especially with me now as I come back down this familiar road that I've taken detours off (and not always so scenic, either ;- ) -- that was the greatest example of faith, the quiet, lived out day by day, of faith, ever! One right in my home that I was raised in - the suburban ranch with the carport and big yard. .... And so, this new blog. I want a home to share my own story, to share other people's stories of the Faith - either by word or video or some other current technology means. .....
In the name of my mother, Stephanie Wysocki Waseck, as my overseer, and my Dad, Arthur Waseck, and under God's process, as He shall direct me + + +
