  Above are the 7 Deadly Sins. 
  
   I was looking at this list the other day, and I came across a startling realization ---
  
  I have a dear friend that is bound with many struggles - if I look at them in the light of the list here, I would definitely tick-off and see truth in lust, gluttony, and sloth.   What hit me with a sharp sting was the thought that his late father was filled with wrath, and this opened the door just enough for these other deadly sins to come in and take-up their lives within the family.  We've got at least two brothers dealing with greed  (to where there was prison time involved ...), and a mentally ill sibling who hears voices that interestingly enough! seem to focus on envy   Another left the household as soon as she could, b/c she had enough pride that she could build a completely different type of existence, and to some degree, she did - and - that said - she is also divorced and perhaps even struggling financially. 
  
  So-o-o, seeing this in this context - it tells me if you're the head of the household and you bring the weight of sin into your family's home ---  you're going to have guaranteed results - and not very good ones  ;-
